Step 1 – Attorney-Client Consultation

Attorney-Client Consultation

The initial client-attorney consultation is perhaps the most important step in identifying and implementing proper intellectual property protection. Please schedule a free 30-minute consultation with one of our attorneys to have a general discussion about any pressing matters, the nature of your business, and your cutting edge technology.

Step 2 – IP Assessment

IP Assesment

During our meeting, we will assess the status of your Intellectual Property and determine the appropriate subsequent steps in securing your IP. IP Assessment includes:
– Employee Matters
– Patents
– Trademarks
– Copyrights
– Trade Secrets
– Contractual Matters

Step 3 – Action Plan Development

Action Plan Development

After we evaluate the results of the Intellectual Property assessment, our team of attorneys will work to develop a thorough and cohesive action plan specific to your unique needs and concerns. Identifying items that need immediate versus perhaps long term attention is important and assigning projections time, energy, and financial costs will serve to provide you with a better understanding of the process.

Step 4 – Action Plan Approval

Action Plan Approval

After you have reviewed our custom report and materials, we will have another meeting to establish the final parameters of the project. Careful review of our action plan will allow us to make any and all adjustments and enable us to reach an agreement and move forward with the project.

Step 5 – Quarterly Meeting Review

Quarterly Meeting Review

We will have quarterly meetings to review the status of the matters being worked on and address any new Intellectual Property issues that have arisen since our last meeting. Protecting your IP is our number one priority. Period.
